Main Engine Exhaust Systems

Aircraft-quality TIG-welded 316L and Inconel main engine exhaust systems for the world's finest yachts, sportfish, mega-yachts, and commercial vessels.

Overview

What this service includes

D'Angelo Marine Exhaust engineers, fabricates, and installs main engine exhaust systems for the finest boats, yachts and builders in the world, and to the standards demanded by commercial & military-grade vessels.

Aircraft-quality welds are performed by hand by American Welding Society certified fabricators. In addition to industry standard 316L, we offer the option of fabrication in Inconel for additional resistance and extended warranty. Components are die-formed in tube size — not pipe — so every section fits perfectly the first time.

Our quality assurance department monitors product quality at every stage. We're compliant with AIAG, APQP, and PPAP processes with Cummins Marine, Detroit Diesel, and John Deere.

Process

How we work

01

Consult

We discuss vessel, engines, layout, and finish goals. Drawings or physical measurements accepted.

02

Engineer

Our six full-time engineers design the system in 3D, calculate back-pressure, and submit to class if required.

03

Fabricate

TIG-welded by AWS-certified fabricators in 316L, Inconel, or AL6XN. Passivated and finished to spec.

04

Install & Sea-Trial

Our service teams travel to your yard or location for installation, commissioning, and sea trials.

Problems we solve

Designed to engine spec from turbo outlet to overboard.

Corrosion failure

Passivation + premium alloys (316L, Inconel, AL6XN).

Sound / vibration

Custom silencer packages tuned to the vessel.

Poor fitment

Die-formed tube-size elbows fabricated in-house.
