DeAngelo Marine Exhaust Inc.
Service

New Installations & Repowers

From clean-sheet design through sea trials, or coordinated with your main-engine overhaul / repower — we deliver the exhaust system that's right for the next stage of the vessel.

Overview

What this service includes

Whether it's a one-off custom-built sportfish in the Carolinas or supply vessels in Dubai, we can design to meet any classing society, engine requirements, and sound attenuation. From a small Cummins to a massive 20-cylinder MTU — and anything in between — we're ready to show you what we can do.

We collaborate with yacht and ship builders from vessel conception to trials, and we recommend a full inspection and system review during any engine repower so the new system performs to its full potential.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Can you start from engine-room drawings only?

Yes. Many of our designs begin from general engine-room layouts long before the engines arrive. We can also take physical measurements after the engines are installed and aligned.

Do you handle the class submission?

Yes. We submit design drawings and specifications and coordinate surveyor sign-off at commissioning.

How long does a typical install take?

Project-dependent. We coordinate timelines with the yard and the engine overhaul schedule.
